I love to be outside! Especially on days like yesterday and today. The weather is perfect, just the right amount of clouds, beautiful sun, t-shirt and jeans weather.
I got the yard mowed, well... at least part of it (we do have 5 acres.) Mulched around the flower beds, and house. Hubby got the garden tilled and marked his lines to start planting today!! Now to get things into the ground.
Being outside is wonderful. I love listening to all the birds, love watching the rabbits and birds soar through the air and just take in all that is around me. I love living in the country and wish I we owned more land with lots of trees that I could take walks through the woods.
So if you haven't been outside too much lately, take time to do that. If you aren't as lucky as I am to own your own little piece of land to enjoy the animals, go to a nice park and just sit there and listen to what is around you. I hope you all have a beautiful week this week and that you take time to view the Great Outdoors!!! Rachel

I agree with you. Take some time to be outside. I love being outside. We went 4 wheeling on sunday had a blast. We went to a friend of our who owns 300 acres. I would love to have that much land. We are looking at a house that has 10 acres but we need to sell our house first. It's been on the market for about a year and a half. I have given up hope. Every one who has looked at it says it's nice but they don't like the water tower in back. Oh well, some one will come along.
How are you doing on your workouts? I'm still walking and now I'm teaching water aerobics again twice a week. I'm 11 pounds way from my final goal of a 140 pounds. I have until July 31 to lose that weight. That is when we go on VACATION. 2 1/2 weeks of doing nothing but floating on a lake up in Northen Minnesota. It's the best.

That is awesome that you are so close to your goal!! I am still stuck at the same weight. I have to say that my eating has not been the best lately! I need to get motivated to eat better though.
So you live by a water tower. My mom lives in N. Lewisburg and the old water tower is in her backyard. Are you close to that one or the newer tower?
Your Minnesota vacation sound wonderful!!!! That's the kind of vacation I need! I am getting a little getaway next weekend with my mom.

How was your weekend with your mom? What did you do? I hope you had a wonderful mothers day today. I took the kids to build a bear today. It was fun. It was Zacks first time there so it was fun to watch his eyes light up at every thing.
We live under the big water tower (new tower). The tower is in the backyard. We live in Castle Ridge. The house we are looking at is just down on 296, so about 3 miles down the road. But we have to sell our house first.
I was give the Ok to workout again but with caution. I see a Orthopedic Surgeon on may 20 to find out what the next step will be for my knee. I have a tear in the Meniscus muscle. I don't have any pain any more because the body healed it but it healed like a broken bone. Basically the muscle hardened up and I have a knot on the side of my knee about the size of a golf ball. So with the weather not looking the best for a few days I'm glad I can work out agian.

Sorry to hear about all that with your knee. I hope it all goes well, if you have to have surgery.
I didn't get to see my mom on Mother's Day. My grandpa is in the hospital and was transported to OSU, so she was with him. We spent the day with my mother in law (this is her first mother's day without my father in law since he died in January) The kids were good and we had a great day. I'm getting a new clothes line!!! (that's fron the hubby)
I am actually going away with my mom, aunt and cousing this coming weekend as a little mothers day trip. (as long as my grandpa is okay) That will be nice to get away for two days.
I know right where Castle Ridge is. Its funny you said that because there is a little girl in my daughters dance class and I just found out tonight that is where she lives. The mom's name is Jooli and the little girl is Afton. Do you know them?
Well, I've got to get to work, I'm subbing 4 days this week, so I need some sleep. Have a great week.
