Gotta Brag!

You know how I said I was putting a little jog into my walk, well that is nothing compared to what my friend did this weekend!!!
My pal Corie completed a 1/2 marathon!!!! That's right, she ran 13.1 miles in like 2 hours and 3o some minutes!!!! I just have to brag because she was very excited and I was excited for her!!!
I don't think I'll be running a 1/2 marathon anytime soon, but hopefully I can keep that little jog up with my walk and only get better.

Sorry i have not written in soo long my husband has been out of state for the last three days for work. He got home last night. so I have not had any time for myself.
Have you been able to enjoy being outside? How are you doing on your goal? I have gone for a walk every day and it feels so good to be outside. I run into a friend at the store the other day. She is a licensed herbalistI told her I was stuck with my weight. she strongly suggested I try this 7 day dieter's cleanse. It is to clean out the insides. She also gave me some herb spray for my knee. It's called Pain spray (LOL). It works wonderful!!This is the first time I have tried herbs. so I'm kind of unsure. Well I hope you enjoy the day. I'll talk to you later. Lynn

Doing Okay Lynn! I'm trying to stick to my goal, but I'm still not seeing anything come off. I'm getting some exercise in, but still stuck at weight. Decided I wouldn't look at the scale for a week or so and see what happens.
You'll have to tell me more about the cleanse thing if you do it.
Hope your weekend is great!

Wow! I can't believe that the days are just flying by...I haven't had a chance to get online to chat for days...I think I'm having withdrawals...:)
Lynn, you'll have to keep me posted on the dieter's cleanse- I'm sure most of us could use a good internal cleansing..
K1s2c3, Great that you are adding some running to your walk. It feels really good once you get going. I'm amazed at how much of a difference it makes in toning my "butt". So I've been trying to run at least very couple days and using my gazelle the other days. Plus some free weight (5-10lbs) with plenty of reps and lots of floor exercises for my "belly" one of my most stubborn spots.
Keep up the good work.
